How it works
Compliance forecast, Resmed's proprietary 90-Day (compliance) model, predicts the likelihood that any selected patient will become compliant with therapy as defined by the CMS rule. The compliance forecast 90-day model, in reference to the CMS rule, considers patients compliant when they use their machine for at least four hours a day for 21 days out of 30 during their first 90 therapy days.
The model predicts compliance for every eligible patient for each treatment day. ComplianceCoach provides multiple filters, graphs and perspectives that home medical equipment providers (HMEs) can use to sort through patient lists during outreach and offers tools to help you support patients during the important early days of their PAP therapy journey.
ComplianceCoach has a number of useful filters that allow you to sort through patient populations by their forecast values, Care Check-In responses, days since setup, device type, HME location and therapeutic values, among others.
Once you have selected patients or groups of patients for outreach, you can consult their compliance Overview and compliance percent and other variables to gain insight so you have the information you need to guide them towards compliance.
As you work your patient lists, you can contact patients through traditional outreach methods to discuss their progress and hone in on how they can reach compliance as quickly as possible. You can record your outreach in ComplianceCoach as you contact each patient so that other clinicians won't duplicate your efforts.
