Model overview
Resmed’s proprietary 90-Day Machine Learning model predicts the likelihood that any selected patient will become compliant with therapy as defined by the CMS rule. The model, called the Compliance Forecast 90-Day model in reference to the CMS rule, considers patients compliant when they use their machine for at least four hours a day for 21 days out of 30 during their first 90 therapy days.
The model predicts compliance for every eligible patient for each treatment day.* The ComplianceCoach website provides multiple data points that home medical equipment providers (HMEs) can use to sort through patient lists during outreach.
*Any prediction is subject to multiple factors and there is no guarantee that any patient will reach compliance on any particular date or under every circumstance.
